And the lesser known and less appreciated WGA Awards


The Writers Guild of America evidently will still hold its awards show next year, strike or no strike. The WGA announced the nominees yesterday for the event, which honors outstanding motion picture and television writing, scheduled for February 9th in Los Angeles and New York. Shows that received multiple nods include HBO's The Sopranos and the Showtime drama Dexter.
