Despite rumors to the contrary, a nude photo scandal won't cost VANESSA HUDGENS her spot in the third High School Musical film. According to Us Weekly, Vanessa will receive a raise to return as Gabriella in the upcoming sequel. A source claims that Hudgens' involvement in High School Musical 3 is, quote, "almost a done deal." A published report last month claimed she'd be replaced in the highly-popular Disney franchise after a nude photo of the 18-year-old actress surfaced on the Internet.
Us Weekly also reports that ASHLEY TISDALE has completed negotiations to star in High School Musical 3, while CORBIN BLEU and MONIQUE COLEMAN are in final negotiations. ZAC EFRON, the on-and-off-screen boyfriend of Hudgens, is expected to return as well. However, there is no official casting news on any of these names as of yet.
